Vintage Confetti Glass Paperweight by Gentile Glass, West Virginia

The Gentile Glass Company was founded by Peter Gentile, who was born in Naples, Italy, in 1884. He learned his craft in Italy and later worked for American glassmakers, including 25 years at the Old Morgantown Glass Guild in West Virginia.

In 1947, Peter Gentile established his own factory in Star City, West Virginia. The company is known for its handblown art glass, particularly paperweights featuring designs like millefiori and speckled or confetti patterns.
