Cinea Pendant Light, in Murano Glass, by Giusto Toso for Leucos, Italy Circa 1970s

Designed by renowned Italian glass artist Giusto Toso for Leucos in the 1970s, the Cinea Pendant light has a remarkable presence that manages to embody a Mid-Century Modern ethos as it foreshadows what's to come. Effectively a bridge between Modern and Post-Modern design, the modified conical form is crafted of hand-blown Murano glass and imbued with nuance (for instance note the smooth transition from transparent to white).
